Material Overview
Cunifer — a 90/10 Copper-Nickel alloy reinforced with iron and manganese — is widely used for automotive and marine brake and fuel line tubing. It's valued for its corrosion resistance, ease of forming and flaring, and resistance to work-hardening compared to steel line.

Typical values, temper per ASTM B466 Table 2. Cunifer's low work-hardening rate makes it easier to bend, flare and double-flare on site than steel brake line, without annealing.
